Hello SV Families!
We are having PJ Day on Friday. This event was created by Student Council. If your child would like to participate, please have them bring in $1 on Thursday. Student Council will be donating the money to local charities. Thank you!

Good morning.
This is just a reminder that school ends at 12:50 today and then our students have off tomorrow and Monday.

Growing minds are powered by proper nutrition. Help us help children reach
their fullest potential by supporting @GIANT's/Martin's Feeding School Kids Round Up program. By rounding up at the check-out register, you're directly supporting The Waynesboro Area School District's efforts to combat childhood hunger through school feeding programs. Round up today!

Hello Summitview families,
Your children were reminded throughout the week that today is Smiley Face or Shark day.

Hello Summitview families,
We had a little situation with a Chromebook cart this afternoon in one classroom. Everything was evaluated and everyone was safe. We just wanted to let the families know in case your children came home with some interesting stories. During this time we did have our January fire drill. The children did a great job. Thank you and have a good evening.

Hello SV Families!
Tuesday's (1-24) breakfast will be:
Mini Waffles
Mandarin Oranges
Juice and
Milk

Hello SV Families!
We are operating on a 2-hour delay schedule today, Monday, Jan 23.

This is just a reminder that SV students are welcome to attend the WASHS basketball games this evening beginning at 6:15. They should wear the Pack the House bracelet to the game. Also, they should be attending with a parent. Thank you!

Tomorrow is Backward Day at Summitview. Mr. Pappas calls it Kris Kross Day...Students and staff have permission to wear their clothes backward.

Our students have off on Monday, 1/16/23, in honor of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
We keep a quote of Rev. King on our website because, as a school, we believe in what he said.
"Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve."

The Cupcake Gypsy, located in downtown Waynesboro, is displaying 12 of Summitview's 4th-graders' Oil Pastel Cupcakes. Each of those 12 students will receive a free cupcake when they go in to see their art.
The Cupcake Gypsy decided to pick the top 4 and they will be making them into actual cupcakes to bake and sell in their store. The week that the student's cupcake is sold all the money will be saved and the student will get to pick a charity to donate it to! So if you can, make a stop at The Cupcake Gypsy.
