Hello SV Families Tomorrow's spirit day is to wear snow themed clothing, but no pajamas. Wednesday's spirit day is to wear your favorite holiday decorations. We will be counting those who participate for a chance for a class to get Project Team tickets! Remember, our students will be dismissed at 12:50 PM on Wednesday.

We are sorry for the late post, but in case your children forgot about tomorrow’s spirit day it is Holiday Sock Day. Thanks!

Hello WASD families. If you are having trouble logging into your Sapphire Community Web Portal or if you are having trouble viewing your learners grades/schedule/etc. it is time for you to clear your browsing data/cache on your device. Go into your Settings, select History, and select Clear Browsing Data. If you are logged into your portal while clearing your history, log out of and back in and the issue(s) should resolve. You can also use the following shortcut when using a Chromebook or Laptop; hold down Control, Shift and Delete and it will take you into your browser history as well. Sapphire recommends clearing your browser history longer than 7 days for it to be effective. If you need a Sapphire Community Web Portal or assistance with your account, please reach out to your learners school and the building secretary will be able to assist you. Thank you.

Hello SV Families Here are a few reminders: The district calendar that was handed out at the beginning of the year has been changed. Please use our school website calendar for the most accurate information regarding events. We are not holding a Veterans Day event like we have in years past, but Mrs. Slick has put together a school-wide video honoring the men and women that have served and currently serve our great nation. We will be sharing that video via our Facebook page and website later this week. We are having our first parent forum this evening at 6 PM. Please enter at the main entrance. All SV parents are invited to come! Our next PTO meeting is at 6:30 PM on Nov. 16. Our students have off this Thursday (Nov. 11) in honor of Veterans Day. Thanks and have a great day!

This message is being sent out via email at 4:30 PM. Thanks! Good evening SV Families We will be having a parent forum Monday night at SV. This event will be a time where you can ask me any questions or address any concerns face-to-face. I held these events for over 5 years at WASHS and it was a great way to build trust and to open up the lines of communication between the school and our families. The event will begin at 6 PM, I hope to see you there. Our students have off from school next week on Nov. 11th , which is also our Domino’s Pizza Night. Our November PTO meeting will be on Nov. 16th at 6:30 PM. Our PTO recently purchased more athletic balls for recess and additional playground equipment. Please plan on attending this meeting. I want to thank our families who drop their children off in the morning. Everyone has been doing a great job keeping traffic flowing and by going and stopping at the large white line. Your cooperation really helps us and it helps the flow of traffic on Second Street. If you are unable to come to the parent forum on Monday, but you have any questions about SV please do not hesitate to email me at steve_pappas@wasdpa.org When you talk to your children tonight about school please thank them for doing a great job while they are here. SV Families Our Race for Education is on Friday, Oct 15. There have been a few things that state it was going to be tomorrow, but that is incorrect. October 15th is the correct date. Sorry for any confusion.
