An important message from the Transportation Department:

We wanted to let you know that your learner's bus or van information is being updated daily in the parent portal. Due to changes in our bus routing software, there were unanticipated issues with some of our existing bus stops and pickup/dropoff times.

Please note that when we update the bus routing software, it will update in the parent portal overnight and be available to view in the morning.

If you've already contacted the transportation department due to concerns with bus stops, pickup and dropoff times, or bus numbers, the transportation department will call you back to update or correct those details.

The Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 presents "Great Kids Start as Seeds", a program for families of children with Autism in Franklin County. This event will be held on Friday, May 23rd, 9AM-11 AM @ the Franklin Learning Center, 2397 Loop Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.

The Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 presents The Neurosequential Model of Education for Parents or Guardians of Students who are enrolled within the Franklin Co. School District. This event will be held on Friday, May 6th, 9:30-11:30 AM @ the Franklin Learning Center's Media Center, 2397 Loop Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.

Please note the following changes on the WASD 2024-2025 calendar: The April early dismissal has been moved to April 17th. May 29, 2025 is the last day of school for our learners.

From January 1 – March 31, you can ROUND UP at the register to support our school district’s efforts working to eliminate childhood hunger. Through this initiative, WASDS and other public school districts can use funds to support meal programs to expand food distribution programs, create on-campus food pantries and gardens, supply extra weekend meals, and eliminate outstanding student meal debt. Due to road conditions and the inclement weather, the Waynesboro Area School District will be closed today, Wednesday, February 12, 2025. WASD will be operating on a FID (virtual learning day). Secondary instruction will begin at 8:30 and elementary instruction will begin at 9:00.
