Student clubs made cards and banners for School Lunch Hero Day that were hung by by the cheer team!

We thank the local community for supporting the WASHS Class of 2026. - the Bingo on April 28th is officially sold out and no tickets will be sold at the door.

Congratulations to the WAMS and WASHS Envirothon teams on their performance at the county competition earlier this week. The WASHS team of Joel, Corrina, Maddie, Marshall, and Emma won 1st place and will advance to the state competition at the end of May!

Members of the junior class attended the Central PA College Fair at Penn State Mont Alto last week!

WASD is scheduled for an early dismissal day on Monday, April 8, 2024. Our secondary learners will be dismissed at 11:50 AM and our elementary learners will be dismissed at 12:50 PM.

Congratulations to Lexi (Winner), Anna, (1st runner up), and George (2nd runner up) in the Four-Way Speech contest sponsored by the Rotary Club of Waynesboro! Students selected a topic and spoke as to how the topic met the Rotary International Four Way Test: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? We also thank Rotary Club of Waynesboro for the $600 in prize money awarded to these students.

Good luck to Eve and Brenner as they compete the in State Swim Meet at Bucknell University this week! -Eve was the PIAA District 3 champion in the 50 meter freestlyle (time of 23.37 seconds) -Eve placed 2nd in the 100 meter freestlyle (time of 51.52 seconds - setting a new school record) Brenner was a medalist in the 50 meter freestlye (time of 21.52 seconds)
