We got our first dozen of eggs! Both hens are laying now. We recently applied for a grant to help us build "Summitview Farms" so that we can provide new opportunities for our students. We would to thank those in our community who have reached out to us about helping we this great new project.

Remember the heroes and those we lost twenty-one years ago.

This is just a reminder that if you are parking in our parking lot, the YMCA lot, or on 2nd Street please come to the main office entrance (not the patio) for your child. The pictures below show which door (k-1 or 2-5) to go to with your green-numbered card. Thank you!

Parents, check out this opportunity!

Hello SV Families!
THANK YOU for your patience and understanding this afternoon. After assessing our new process, we are making a few changes. The one change that will impact families, will be when it comes to picking up K and 1 students at a door. We are asking parents to pick those students up at the doors directly to the right of the main entrance not on the patio (as we did today) . This way all students will be picked up at basically one location.
Please make sure to have your green numbered card if you are picking up at the doors or from your vehicle.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding. We believe tomorrow will be better.

Here are some SV folks who dressed up today. Mrs. Byers wants to be Mrs. Shea when she grows up.

Summitview 1st-5th grader students read the book You Be You by Linda Kranz. The students created a fish mural based on her hand painted rock fish in the book.

This is just a reminder that tomorrow is career day. We are encouraging students to dress up with their future career in mind. Please remember that all outfits and accessories need to be school appropriate. Thank you.

On Friday, September 2, we are having a career day. Students are encouraged to dress up like an individual who they would like to be like when they are older. We ask that outfits and accessories are school appropriate. Thank you!

Hello SV Families!
Thank you for your patience and flexibility at dismissal today.

Hello SV Families!
Due to the severe weather that may hit our area during dismissal time, we will keep our walkers a few minutes later so they do not need to walk in the stormy weather. Our dismissal might look a little different for our pick up students, as well. If the weather is bad, we will probably keep them in the building and call for them over our walkie-talkie system to come out when their parents are present. Thank you.

We would like to thank Mrs. McDonald for always being willing to help wherever help is needed. Also, we would like to thank all of the volunteers we have had helping out over the past two days. You are truly living out our motto, “Service with a SMILE”.

Hello SV Families!
Tomorrow is ICE CREAM DAY at lunch. If your child would like to buy ice cream they will need to bring in $1.00.

Amazing people! Thanks for a great first day!

Shark sighting today at Summitview! We would like to thank our sharks for welcoming our students back to school.

The best volunteer around, Mrs. Ebersole! Thank you for saving the day today!!!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!!!

Our PTO is the BEST!!! They just redecorated our faculty room and provided many goodies for our staff. If you are interested in attending our first PTO meeting, please join us on September 6 at 4 PM. We will meet in the SV library.
