Some of our second graders are heading off to the Institute today.

We had our Project Team assembly today and our students met the PT characters.

Hello SV Families!
Some 4th grade families were sent an email about swimming tomorrow. Please check your email to see if you received a message from Steve Pappas. Thanks!

Our students just participated in an intruder drill and a severe weather drill. They did an excellent job with both drills!

We would like to thank everyone that came to our Academic Night. We hope that it was a valuable experience. As always, if you ever have any questions about our school, please contact your child’s teacher or Mr. Pappas.

Hello SV Families!

Hello Summitview families.
We had an ambulance come to our building this afternoon as a precaution due to an injury on our playground. Our nurse was able to provide immediate care for the student.

The rest of our first graders are heading to the Institute today.

From the WASD Elementary PE Department:
Registration is open for the 11th Annual Elementary Track and Field Meet. This meet is for 2nd-6th graders. Registration forms were handed out at school. If you did not receive a form and would like one, please have your child see their Physical Education teacher to get a form. Please return the registration form and fee by September 19th if your child would like to participate.

More learning fun in third grade with Mr. McCray. The students are building lunar rovers with Legos.

Third grade made the phases of the moon out of Oreos!!!! YUMMY!!!

Mrs. Levick's students are learning about caterpillars. Here are pictures of Bob and Rosey!

Due to possible lack of quorum, the board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2022 has been moved from in-person to virtual. Public comments can be made online via the form on the district website.

Sorry we missed the date. Our Academic Night will be on 9/20/22.
Thank you and we hope to see you there.

We got our first dozen of eggs! Both hens are laying now. We recently applied for a grant to help us build "Summitview Farms" so that we can provide new opportunities for our students. We would to thank those in our community who have reached out to us about helping we this great new project.

Remember the heroes and those we lost twenty-one years ago.

This is just a reminder that if you are parking in our parking lot, the YMCA lot, or on 2nd Street please come to the main office entrance (not the patio) for your child. The pictures below show which door (k-1 or 2-5) to go to with your green-numbered card. Thank you!

Parents, check out this opportunity!

Hello SV Families!
THANK YOU for your patience and understanding this afternoon. After assessing our new process, we are making a few changes. The one change that will impact families, will be when it comes to picking up K and 1 students at a door. We are asking parents to pick those students up at the doors directly to the right of the main entrance not on the patio (as we did today) . This way all students will be picked up at basically one location.
Please make sure to have your green numbered card if you are picking up at the doors or from your vehicle.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding. We believe tomorrow will be better.
