Recently, our 3rd-5th graders completed a brief career survey. The had options to choose from six career clusters. Students will learn more about these career clusters as they progress through the WASD.
We do have another menu alteration this week. On Wednesday and Thursday breakfasts will be swapped .

Our staff had a lot of fun dressing up today. The kids loved their outfits.
We would like to the thank our PTO and all of our volunteers for putting together the Race for Education. The students had a great time and they loved the Kona Ice!!
Summitview students did an amazing job at the Elementary Track Meet on Monday!!!
Our students did a great job with the October fire drill today. We want to thank the local fire department for coming out and conducting this drill.

We are still having Domino's Night tonight, but we did not have the forms this time. We did not forget the forms. Thankfully, Domino's will still donate to us if you mention Summitview to them when you are purchasing your pizzas. At Summitview, we care about what our parents think and we know a trusting relationship between the school and family is vital for children to be successful. We are hosting our first Parent Forum of the year on 10/24/22 (Monday) at 6:30 PM in our cafeteria. This is a time when parents can speak directly to Mr. Pappas and hear about what we are doing in our school. So if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to know a little more about us please plan on attending on 10/24/22 at 6:30 PM. If your children can stay home, that might be best, but if not, they can attend with you.

Hello SV Families!
We will be having holiday lunches this year by grade levels. Parents are encouraged to attend. Adult lunches cost $4.25 and that money will be collected at the door. An information sheet will come home prior to each lunch.
Nov 17 will be for grades 3rd and 5th at 10:45 AM.
Dec 15 will be for grades 1st and 4th at 11:45 AM.
March 30 will be for grades K and 2nd at 12:20 PM.
Additionally, we will be having a GRANDPARENTS Day in the spring. More information will be out as we get closer to that time.

We are pleased to announce that district calendars have arrived and were distributed to all students this week.
If anyone would like a calendar, we have extras available at the district's administrative office building (Clayton). You may pick up a calendar during regular business hours.
