Waynesboro Are School District been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education (Award) from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. For 27 years, the BCME designation has been awarded to districts and individual schools that demonstrate outstanding access to music education for all students! To qualify for the BCME designation, WASD answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, and support for the music program and community music-making programs.
