Summitview families are welcome to meet their child’s new teachers at our annual Back to School Night on Thursday, August 15. A schedule for the evening is as follows:
6:30-8:00 pm - Community Information and Q&A in the gym.
School secretary, Mrs. Pam Ebersole, will be on hand to answer questions about the Community Web Portal.
District transportation supervisor, Mrs. Malissa Baer, will be on hand to answer questions about transportation and busing.
PTO will be on hand with Summitview spirit wear available for purchase.
Local community organizations will also be on hand if you are interested in signing your child up for an after school activity.
6:30-7:00 pm - Families of children entering kindergarten are invited to meet their teacher in their classroom.
7:00-7:30 pm - Families of children entering first grade or second grade are invited to meet their teacher in their classroom.
7:30-8:00 pm - Families of children entering third grade or fourth grade are invited to meet their teacher(s) in their classrooms.
7:30-7:45 pm - Families of children entering fifth grade are invited to meet their teacher(s) in their classrooms. We ask all fifth grade families to join us in the cafeteria at 7:45 pm for a meeting about Outdoor School, which will take place October 3 & 4, 2019.
As a reminder, students’ teacher assignments will be published in the Sapphire Community Web Portal in early August. Class lists will not be posted on the school doors and school staff will not give teacher assignments over the phone. School Kidz School supply kits will be delivered to students’ classrooms for pick-up at Back to School Night.
Kona Ice will be available for purchase near the front playground. Proceeds from the sale of Kona Ice benefit the Summitview PTO.
