This is just a reminder that Monday, March 27th is a snow make-up day and IS in session. Again, there will be school this Monday, March 27th.

Due to the inclement weather day on December 22, 2022, school will be in session on Monday, March 27, 2023.

Pictured are members of our FBLA - Jordan, Mary, Kailey, Alexia, Riley, Bella, Maddie, & George. A recent competition included the submission of business reports - a 16-page Local Chapter Annual Business report of our chapter's program work this year and a 16-page Partnership with Business report of our chapter's work with Mainstreet Waynesboro. We are thrilled to share that these two reports finished in the top 10 in Pennsylvania and will allow Riley, Alexia, Sadie, and Mary the opportunity to present their reports at the FBLA State conference in Hershey next month in an attempt to qualify for Nationals this summer. Way to go!

Congratulations and good luck to Eve, who placed 16 in the state preliminary round of the 100 m butterfly and will swim in the finals tonight! Eve will also be competing tomorrow in the 100m freestyle.

Yesterday was the Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair held at Harrisburg Area Community College. WASHS was represented by TJ and Neveah, who advanced from our local Franklin County fair in 2022. Special thanks to WASHS Biology teacher, Mrs. Kelley, who served as a judge and Mrs. Myers, WAMS science teacher, who has been a longtime member of the science fair planning committee at the county and state levels!
