The following WASD students recently won awards for the 2022-23 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition, which is the longest running and most prestigious creativity recognition program in the nation. Students who are recognized with Gold Keys are entered into the National Competition. Those winners are yet to be determined.

Madison Warren - Silver Key in Critical Essay and Honorable Mention in Poetry
Zelie Musolino - Honorable Mention in Personal Essay/Memoir
Joey Jacobs - Gold Key in Critical Essay
Aiden Hess - Honorable Mention in Graphic Design
Gabrielle Strasser - Honorable Mention in Science Fiction
