WASHS

Good evening High School Families, a few important updates as we move into April.

First,  WASHS completed a Run-Hide-Fight intruder drill at 8:30 am this morning. I’m very proud to share that our staff and learners evacuated the building and were accounted for within 12 minutes! Learners were notified during homeroom that a drill would take place today and homeroom teachers showed learners a video created by our Broadcast Journalism class about Run-Hide-Fight procedures.

Second, a few important calendar reminders:

  • School is in session on Monday to make up the snow day on January 7.
  • WASD Schools and offices will be closed for spring break April 15-18.
  • Additionally, WASHS will be running an internal two-hour delay schedule for Keystone testing. Please review the information in the newsletter for additional information.

Third, learners will not be able to use the A-level lobby near the auditorium next week due to kindergarten registration.

Finally, the March newsletter for our families can be accessed via THIS link. Please review this newsletter for important information, reminders, and upcoming events.
