Good evening High School Families, three announcements for today:
1. WASHS will be celebrating world kindness day on Friday, November 12. We are offering kindness shirts for sale, featuring artwork created by Mrs. Erb of our art department. If you’d like to purchase a shirt for your child, please follow THIS link to order online. Orders must be placed and paid for online on or before Sunday, October 24 and will be delivered to school the week of November 7.
2. A reminder that first marking period ends Wednesday, October 25. We encourage all learners to ensure missing assignments are completed this weekend and turned in on Monday.
3. WASHS staff completed training on E-Hall pass this week, which is an electronic hall pass system that can be accessed from learner’s Chromebooks. Your child is probably familiar with E-Hall pass due to its use at WAMS. Teachers have begun using E-Hall pass with full implementation beginning on Monday, November 1. We hope that better monitoring will lead to a reduction in some of the vandalism we’ve been experiencing in bathrooms this school year.
