The April Edition of the WASHS Family newsletter can be viewed HERE. Highlights of the newsletter include:

As we move into May there are a lot of important pieces of information so please take some time to review the newsletter and this email! 

  • ALL STUDENTS: Please check your Sapphire portal for fines and obligations you may owe the district. Please take care of these obligations as soon as you can by  either returning items or making payment to the WASHS main office. If you took a locker key this year, you will need to return it at the end of May. 
  • Calendar Info:
    • Friday, May 12 - 11:50 early dismissal (Prom Pep Rally from 7:45-8:20 am, Career Expo from 8:20-11:50 am)
    • June 2 is now a staff inservice day so your last day of school will be Thursday, June 1
  • Yesterday about 200 of our students had the opportunity to participate in a webinar featuring Holocaust survivor Mark Schonwetter. We had a short-turn around in planning for this event and were limited in space for attendees. We want to offer a second opportunity to watch the recording of the webinar following the early dismissal on Friday, May 12. If your child would like to participate, please complete have them complete the Google form sent to them via WASD email. Those participating will need their own transportation at 1:00 pm.
  • Prom Tickets - For WASHS 11th and 12th graders and their approved guests.
    • WASHS Attendees must have a complete EXPECTATIONS FORM due at the time of ticket purchase. 
    • Guests of WASHS Students must have a completed GUEST FORM, due Friday, May 5.
    • Tickets will be on sale during the following dates/times ONLY:
      • Lunches on May 9, 10, 11, 16, 18
      • After school on May 16 & May 18
  • Seniors & 2024 early grads - at this point, please check your WASD email DAILY! If you have not already done so, please carefully review the email sent from Mrs. Dickey & Mrs. Davis that contains A LOT of graduation info. If you have not already done so, please complete the Google form to indicate your graduation walking partner.
