WASHS will administer Keystone Exams for first time testers and re-testers in May.

Learners enrolled in the following courses will be taking the exam for the first time - Algebra 1, Algebra 1B, Honors Biology, Biology, English 10, Honors English 10. Additionally, in accordance with PA Act 158, learners in grades 9-11 who have not yet reached proficiency will need to retest. Room assignments have been communicated to first-time testers. Retesters should report to the auditorium. Dr. Kopco emailed learners who need to retest earlier this week. Please contact Dr. Kopco at allison_kopco@wasdpa.org if you have questions about whether or not your child needs to participate in Keystone testing.

In order to provide a quiet testing environment, WASHS will be running an internal two-hour delay schedule ONLY on the six testing dates:

  • May 15 & 16 - Literature
  • May 17 &  18 - Algebra I
  • May 22 &  23 - Biology
  • WASHS will follow a regular schedule on Friday, May 19 and again starting on Wednesday, May 24.

Those taking the Keystone for that day (first time testers and retesters) must report to school on time at 7:30 am (breakfast will be served as usual at 7:30 am), with their charged chromebook and calculator for Algebra I.

Anyone NOT scheduled for that day’s exam may come in at 9:30 am (no breakfast) so long as they can provide their own transportation. Learners absent due to lack of transportation will be marked as unexcused. Learners who need to report on time (not testing) will go to the stadium or gym (weather dependent) for a study hall or supervised activities. Those needed to retest were notified via email from Dr. Kopco earlier this week.
