In support of our Boys’ Basketball Team as they continue to the Semifinal Round of the District III Playoffs, WASD is providing one fan bus to Monday’s game at Reading High School in Reading, PA! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to cheer on the Indians without worrying about parking, gas, or driving home at night!
The fan bus is available to WASHS students, as well as WASHS staff members and their in-district children. ONLY and those participating will be chaperoned by Dr. McCallum, WASHS principal. Seating on the bus will be available first come, first served. You can reserve your seat by completing THIS Google Form.
Those riding the spirit bus should arrive at the WASHS A-level event entrance on Monday by 3:45 pm for departure before 4:00 pm. Students MUST provide a signed permission slip, along with turning in a permission slip and $6, the cost of admission to the game. Permission slips can be printed at home or hard copies will be available in the main office on Monday morning.
There will NOT be a stop on the way to the game so students should bring a meal that can be eaten on the bus. We may make a convenience stop on the way home. Students are welcome to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy on the bus. A portable cell phone charger is recommended. Students will be able to leave personal items on the bus during the game.
Estimated time of return to WASHS is 11:00 pm. All students attending the game are expected to be present and on time for school on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 🙂.
