The WASD Whole Child First Choice Team is excited to officially launch building-based meetings for the Pennsylvania School Climate Survey. The WAMS team is looking forward to reviewing the results of the survey to create an action plan to better meet the needs of all of our students and families that we work with. The results from this survey will greatly help in assessing where our strengths and needs are, and guide us on how to proceed forward to better meet the needs of all.
WAMS is seeking survey responses from families and guardians as well as students. We are requesting parents and guardians’ respond to this survey by Monday, January 31, 2022. The survey is totally anonymous. WAMS will be sending home a signature page for parents to sign who have completed the survey on this coming Monday, January 24th. This signature page will be collected all week until the following Monday, January 31st. The Braves Block in each grade who has the most returned parent signature pages will receive a celebration of the class's choice, such as a pizza or ice cream party. The Link for the survey is available in the email portion of this message and on the WAMS website.. This is the same link that was shared by Dr. Sterner-Hine at the end of last week.
The student survey will take place on Wednesday, January 26th. Again, like the parent survey, this survey is totally anonymous and will be used to create an action plan at WAMS to give all of our students a better school experience. Dr. Sterner-Hine has previously shared a virtual copy of the survey to preview and the Middle School has printed copies that can be previewed in person at the building upon your request.
