Climate Survey

The WASD Whole Child First Choice Team officially launched building-based meetings for the Pennsylvania School Climate Survey in the fall of 2021. Under the leadership of Mr. Aaron Taylor, our school teams are working on a plan to roll out this survey to learners in grades 3rd-12th, faculty, staff, parents, and community stakeholders. This same survey was conducted in 2017 at WASD. The goal of this survey is to use a building-based team approach to really enhance the survey results to develop action plans for each of our six buildings to improve the overall school climate.

WASD is seeking survey responses from WASD families and guardians. Please click HERE  to access the parent/guardian survey.  We are requesting parents/guardians’ responses to this survey by Monday, January 31st.  Although the survey will be anonymous, results will be collected by school buildings to build action plans.

Learners in grades 3-12 will also be asked to complete a survey.  This survey will also be anonymous but results will be collected by school buildings.   If you have additional questions or concerns regarding the survey, please contact your child’s building principal.  Parents/guardians may preview the survey by using the links below:

Thank you in advance for your participation in the survey.  Our building-based teams will be analyzing and reporting on the survey results to highlight the strengths and challenges of your child’s school to enhance the school climate for learners, faculty/staff, and parents.  Thank you for your time and consideration.
