IMPORTANT Food Service Information for 2022-23
Waynesboro Area School District’s Food Service Program has been operating under waivers for the 2020-2021 and the 2021-2022 school year, to allow learners and families with the greatest flexibility to obtain nutritional meals during the unprecedented circumstances caused by the COVID pandemic. These waivers expire June 30, 2022.
THEREFORE, MEALS will NOT be free for all learners during the 2022-23 school year.
In order to prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, a Household Application for Free or Reduced Meals will be required to determine free and reduced eligibility for the 2022-2023 school year after July 1, 2022, unless a learner is directly certified. Families have not been required to complete an application since the 2019-2020 school year. If you need to apply, please do so after July 1, 2022.
