Good evening Falcon Families. This is Mrs. McGuire with two very important announcements.
Due to construction on Third Street, arrival and dismissal will be altered on August 25th-August 27th. Please review THIS DOCUMENT closely to see how you will be affected during construction and what our normal procedures will be. We are encouraging all families within walking distance to walk instead of driving and all learners eligible for bus transportation to use the buses during these opening days. Anyone arriving by car will have to park on surrounding streets and walk onto school grounds.
Our Back to School Night will be back to a live, in person event for all grades on August 19th. To help keep this as safe as possible, we are asking for your help in two ways. First, we ask that the learner and parents or guardians are the only ones in attendance. Please avoid bringing younger siblings or other family members. Second, all grades will have two sessions to choose from, but families will need to sign up for a slot through THIS SIGN UP GENIUS. This will help us better maintain distancing. Kindergarten families may choose 5:30 or 6:15pm. 1st-5th grade families may choose 6:30 or 7:15pm. If you have children in multiple grades, you may sign up for a time for each child.
Please note: Construction will restrict traffic and parking on Fairview Avenue and Third Street on Back to School Night as well. Please follow the directions for “ARRIVAL” to enter the building from the back at your designated time
