Summitview students and staff are collecting items and money to donate to the New Hope Shelter and Waynesboro Community and Human Services as part of Homelessness Awareness Week.  Students can participate by bringing in donations according to their grade level:

  • Kindergarten- dental hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, etc.)
  • 1st grade- hair products (shampoo, conditioner, etc.)
  • 2nd grade- baby items (baby wipes, diapers, baby lotion, etc.)
  • 3rd grade- soap (bar of soap, liquid soap, hand sanitizer, etc.)
  • 4th grade- paper products (tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, etc.)
  • 5th grade- personal products (Band-Aids, chap stick, lotion, etc.) **NO RAZORS**

Donations are being accepted November 18th – November 22nd.  Students are encouraged to wear red on Friday, November 22nd to bring awareness to the week.  Thanks for helping others and being part of the Summitview team!
