WASD was informed that one of our 3rd grade students at Fairview Avenue Elementary School passed away last week. We offer our condolences to the family, friends and our school community.
Counselors and the WASD School Crisis Response Team are available to support learners and families and connect families to needed resources in our community. Parents and families can find resources on our district website and social media pages (attached) including a listing of local counselors as well as books and articles that may be helpful when talking to your children about this loss.
